This original oil painting captures children skiing down from Zerotta above Courmayeur, with the majestic slopes of Monte Bianco rising dramatically in the background. The light is crisp, the snow luminous, and long blue shadows stretch across the piste under a brilliant winter sky.

This piece recreates one of our family holidays to Courmayeur, when my boys were younger and every descent felt both exhilarating and precious. From Zerotta, the views open wide towards the Mont Blanc massif — a place of vast beauty that feels both powerful and protective at once.

I wanted to preserve that sense of scale and tenderness: small figures against monumental peaks, the rhythm of skis carving quietly into fresh snow, the stillness between movement.

For me, this painting holds the feeling of watching your children glide confidently ahead, surrounded by the grandeur of the mountains.
