Now in my shop the giclée prints of my soft pastels painting of Le Vieux Grenier. This is a mountain-restaurant in Courmayeur Mont Blanc. I love the lunch or hot chocolate stop in the day of skiing- not sure if I like that more than the skiing, now that I am getting older! I wanted to represent this. Courmayeur's pistes are not that many, and unless you are not an extreme skier or boarder, the resort is more well known for its places where to eat! I have done a post on that in my blog.
This is Le Vieux Grenier, one restaurant that has great views of the Monte Bianco. We've stopped there many times for hot chocolate over the years. I am just showing a couple and also another woman waiting to have a meal. If you see well, there are some tiny skiers and boarders coming down the pistes behind.

(*) Depending the painting size, sometimes it works better with an A3 or a 30x40 cm. Same happens with the smaller sizes- some paintings work better with a 6”x8” print and others with a 8”x10” size. I can advice once you know what you want.

**For those A4 with mount and no mount Sinterix prints: Sinterix (or sinterescent printing) is a process based on a heat-suffused sintered powder application to the paper. Sinterescent prints are characterised by extremely high image quality and can be printed at very high resolution to bring up extremely fine detail. Colours of Sinterescent prints score 6 or more on the Blue Wool Scale, and are lightfast, as what is required by the Fine Art Guild. Therefore, they are comparable with Giclée prints.
