This is the second painting made with soft pastels, pastel pencils and a bit of pan pastels on pastel paper of the view from the balcony of my home in the mountains in Morgex, Aosta Valley.
You can see the Tour d'Archet, the most ancient 'castle' in the Aosta Valley, thought to be from the end of the 10th century. Here was where the Dukes of Savoy stayed during the General Audiences.
