This is our go to path next to our home in Morgex, on the hamlet of Pautex, just crossing the Dora Baltea river, where you find a bike road. I love always turning around and seeing the Monte Bianco in its splendour, even on those days when is overcast and you can only see the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey. Out of this picture is an abandoned old ski lift, of what it used to be an old ski hill for locals. The position from where I painted, is where a forest starts, and I liked the combination of shadows and light I could see.
