Oil on canvas · 50 × 60 cm / approximately 19.7 × 23.6 inches
Bologna’s two towers give the city a silhouette that is unmistakably its own. Le Due Torri in Bologna brings this distinctive Italian landmark to canvas, exploring the character of a city where historic architecture is woven into everyday life.
For me, painting a place is a way of spending a little longer with it. This work is an invitation to pause in Bologna, look upwards and enjoy the presence of its towers above the city.
An original oil painting for anyone with a connection to Bologna, a love of Italy or an appreciation of architectural subjects. Displayed in a living room, study or hallway, it offers a lasting reminder of a favourite destination and the pleasure of discovering Italian cities on foot.
