It depicts a mountain woman, called Barbara Girod, who is always outdoors in her native Gressoney in the Aosta Valley, by the Monterosa. You can see her trekking up 4,000 meters mountains, biking, swimming, really enjoying life. I love the colours of the painting, with the oranges and reds of the autumn meeting all the shades of whites and blues/purples of the snow.
