A new painting in soft pastels, pan pastels and pastel pencils of a road going down in the hamlet of Verrand, in beautiful Courmayeur Mont Blanc. You can see the Catena di Monte Bianco in the background. This was in a rainy day, after it stopped raining, and the low clouds lifted.
As Verrand is a bit higher than the main part of Courmayeur, you get fantastic vistas. You can see the stone and wood houses with slate tiles, that are so characteristic in the Aosta Valley.
