A new painting of a view of the mountains in Pila, one day we went for a snowshoe walk with our dog. You can see the Becca di Nona, Monte Emilius, Testa Nera, Monte Belleface & Punta della Valletta, a view seen from the bottom of the Grimondet lift.
I love the shape of Becca di Nona and Monte Emilius side by side, and how you see it when you are coming out of the Valdigne di Monte Bianco (which I painted on another occasion!).
I used soft pastels, pan pastels and charcoal on Pastelmat to paint this.
Unframed 100 cm x 35 cm (approximately 40" x 14")
