A portrait of my dog Ozzy in one of his favourite spots on Earth. The banks of the Dora Baltea, between some rock pools formation on the edge of the Sentiero 8 in Morgex. This is one of our favourite spots, we always go for walks year round.
In summer it is great as it is in the shady part of the valley, and you can protect from the sun. In winter, it can be cold and icy, but I love the quietness of the area. I have always wanted to paint Ozzy, but as he is so black haired, I've thought it was going to be difficult, unless I could get some good light on him!
30 x 40 cm (12"x16" approximately).
