Le Brevent is the cable car that takes you from Plan Praz in Chamonix to Le Brevent at 2525 meters. From here you have 360 views of the Massif du Mont Blanc. The amazing aiguilles du Chamonix are amazing, and you get an unobstructed view from up here.
This painting shows the cablecar near the top station, with the detail of the metallic structure. I have always been very attracted to the different types of lifts and their stations.
