A new painting that was done as a commission for an art collector that loves her cats! I have worked on showing Jadis' personality. She is the boss of the pack of four Bengal cats. These cats go on lots of outdoor adventures with their owner, in beautiful Switzerland. Here, Jadis is on her owner's boat on a lake. You can see her home town in the backdrop.
I made this with soft pastels, lots of pan pastel and lots of pastel pencils. It is a big job as you have to recreate her fur, which has a lovely pattern of colours!
