One new landscape of the impressive rugged Aiguilles de Chamonix as seen from PlanPraz, or Le Brèvent in Chamonix. These are the "needles" that are to the left of Aiguille du Midi, when you are looking at them from Planpraz.
I always loved the ruggedness of the terrain and how the lights and shadows play in the landscape, showing you so many tones within the shadows and light.
You can see the Aiguille de Roc, the Aiguille de Grépon, the Aiguille de Blatière, the Aigulle de 2 Aigles, the Dent du Caiman, the Pointe Lepiney and the Aiguille du Plan in this group.
I used soft pastels, pan pastels and charcoal on Pastelmat to paint this.
