My Solo Exhibition "Anima di Montagna" at La Tour de l'Archet has Finished.
My Solo Exhibition, titled "Anima di Montagna" has just finished. I called it Anima di Montagna" or "Mountain Soul". I staged it at La Tour de l'Archet, the most ancient castle in the Aosta Valley. This was the residence of the Count of Savoy on his trips to Aosta, as the Aosta Valley used to be part of the Savoie.
In the three exhibition rooms of the castle, I've showed 27 paintings painted with my soft pastels and charcoal. They all depicted landscapes of the Valdigne (the Valley of Monte Bianco). There were a couple representing areas a bit outside the Valdigne. For example, Villeneuve and Chamonix.
The exhibition went from 23rd December 2023 till 6th January, 2024. It's private view was on 27th December. After the show, I distributed the sold paintings. I also took six paintings to two hotels, to be on permanent exhibition. These are the Relais Mont Blanc in La Salle and the Hotel Les Montagnards in Morgex.
Even though this was my third solo exhibition, is the first big exhibition in a proper exhibition place!
